Pooped

What a busy day!

We decided 3 am was a good time to wake up
We ate a bunch
We sleep a lot
We poop a lot
We slept in the stroller on a walk

Wearing Babies

This is what happens when the babies are crabby all day...
You get wrapped up and held all day!

We got a Moby Wrap and it's great.
At first we opened it and were confused because it looks like just a really long piece of fabric, we looked at it and thought, great what do we do with this?

Look at them snuggled up

Sarah has become quiet fond of wearing the babies.

Stroller Ride

The girls 1st stroller ride.

Ada all bundled up in her seat

We walked a mile and they little ones just loved it.  They seemed to enjoy it - so we will continue to have this as a daily activity!

Now that we're home...

Things have been a little crazy having everyone at home.
There is a lot of feeding, pooping, diaper changes and sleeping.

We have to take the girls in for weekly weigh-in
and they are definitely putting on some pounds.

Ada weights 6 lbs 2 oz

Evie weights 5 lbs 12 oz

Coming home

After weeks and weeks the girls finally get to come home!
We can't be more excited!  We took our precious girls from the NICU and ran hoping to never return!

Here are the girls getting ready to come home

Evie in her going home outfit

Ada in her going home outfit
The pants were just a touch big on the both of them, and by touch I mean HUGE,
but they still looked cute.

Ada in her car seat

Evie in her car seat
and finally...

HOME AT LAST!
Can you tell how excited they are?

We are thrilled to have them home and away from the hospital.
Of course just because they're out of the hospital they're not in the clear, they will have to go to the doctor twice a week for checkups and weight checks to make sure they can stay home.

Another Test

The girls have to pass a car seat test before they can go home.  The test involved the girls sitting in their car seat for 90 minutes without any laps in breath saturation or hear rate.  The girls started off great at the beginning of the test, but then quickly became upset as they were not able to move around.  It was sad because Mom couldn't comfort them when they cried.  The good news - they passed!  Another step towards going home.
