Hospital

So Sarah had her 28 week appointment yesterday and never left...
Yep, she's been hospitalized for monitoring.  We were expecting this but it's still a bit much to be admitted to the hospital.  She's been put in one of the high risk OB rooms.
Before admitting her to the hospital she had her ultrasound.  They could see that the blood flow from the cords is good, but they can see that one is getting less blood then the other so this will need monitoring.
So once she was admitted they did her first monitoring.  They put 3 monitors on her stomach, one for her uterus, one for baby A and one for baby B.
The monitor on the uterus picked up contractions so that of course raised some concerns.
So they put her on an IV to help hydrate her.  That didn't help.
Then they gave her a shot with some drug to help lower the contractions.  This seemed to help, but they're still seeing them.  So they'll have to do monitoring 3 times a day and they'll do 2 ultrasounds a week as well.
So now she'll be in the hospital until hopefully week 32 when they'll do a C-section.

Don't worry, she already said that the food is really good, so she'll be eating just fine.
