One year ago we found out that our world had changed completely. We were not only pregnant, but we were going to have twins. Little did we know the adventure this would take us... and it was only the beginning. An adventure with highs and lows, ups and downs... but one we wouldn't trade for anything in the world.
We frequently recall this day and that doctors office visit. First there was the excitement, yes, it was official. We were pregnant.
Hearing that heart beat for the very first time put us in awe... we smiled as we were pulled us into a serene world. And then hearing the doctor say, 'There's baby A aannnnddddd there is baby B' I remember thinking, Okay, but where is my baby?...
It took time, it seemed like forever, but I'm sure it was only a few seconds for it to sink in. We were having 2 babies. We were having 2 babies at once. We were having twins.
This is so sweet. What a beautiful family!
